Architecture of Evolution Tuesdays: Exhibition Visits

The first exhibition at the Architecture of Evolution Permanent Gallery presented a selected collection of valuable documents, architectural drawings, books, journals, photographs, and archival materials related to architecture in Iran and around the world. The exhibition was organized to introduce part of the group’s research and archival collection, much of which has been assembled over more than four decades of continuous activity and preserved through professional archival, documentation, and conservation practices.
The exhibition focused on presenting the evolution of contemporary architecture, particularly in Iran. To achieve this, a selection of historical documents, architectural drawings, archival records, and reference materials was displayed, allowing visitors to explore the development of contemporary Iranian architecture and the influence of intellectual, cultural, and social movements on its evolution. By presenting authentic archival materials and primary sources, the exhibition sought to highlight the importance of studying and understanding this period of architectural history.
The exhibition was open to visitors on a regular basis every Tuesday, providing researchers, students, professionals, and architecture enthusiasts with the opportunity to visit the Architecture of Evolution Permanent Gallery and explore the displayed materials. Through the exhibition of documents, architectural drawings, photographs, books, and other archival resources, visitors became familiar with the key concepts, events, and influential figures associated with the evolution of contemporary architecture.
Visits were organized in both individual and group formats. In addition to viewing the exhibited materials and archival documents, participants had the opportunity to interact directly with the gallery’s specialists, allowing them to ask questions, receive professional explanations, and exchange ideas about the subjects presented in the exhibition.
The exhibition and its regular visiting program received significant interest from visitors. As part of the research and educational activities of the Architecture of Evolution Group, the program provided an opportunity to deepen public understanding of the history of contemporary Iranian architecture while emphasizing the importance of preserving and documenting architectural heritage.
